Brooklyn Warrior Circle (BWC) is a weekly peer facilitated men's group based in the Gowanus neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY. We are an I-Group within ManKind Project International and a part of the ManKind Project's New York Metro Community.
Our intention is to provide a safe container for diverse men to engage them themselves and each other. As a group we tend to value intimacy, integrity, vulnerability, service, and the mature masculine. At the same time, we celebrate and honor the unique goals each man brings to this work. Our practice is to support each other in addressing conflicts within and between us that stand in the way of realizing these goals and values, by employing a set of shared practical technologies as well as our own intuitions and creativity. We believe mature masculinity depends on a partnership between the archetypes of the warrior, the lover, the elder, and the wild one within. We believe the world needs mature men.
